Hi, I got your name from “pinterest” for Finishing Line Press. I have just received notice that my chapbook has been accepted for publication but I am not sure about their terms. I am writing to find out what your experience with them is and if the book is high quality (the price is higher than what most chapbooks sell for around where I live). Thanks! Marian

Hi Marian, congratulations! It depends on your expectations and where you are in your poetic career. I think they are perfectly fine compared to other small press houses. Most small press only pay in chapbooks and this was ok for me. It is my first chapbookbut I have a poem in a horse anthology and it came out 6 months later than estimated, but the book is fine, standard quality. Other small press I have heard of actually went bankrupt while poets were waiting, so in that sense Finishing Line is a stayer and a good, stable small press. Good luck, hope you will be happy with your book, kind rgs from Nina
